June Robb Vices box

Robb Vices is a monthly subscription box focused on exceptional products, food, accessories, etc. Each box is curated and comes with a booklet that tells the story of the items in the box. This box is for those who enjoy the finer things and appreciate the history or story behind it. I only say that because this box is not inexpensive. The price is $89.95 per month plus shipping. I subscribe to the Robb Report magazine and very much enjoy reading it. If you subscribe to the magazine they offer a discount on the box. I researched previous boxes and liked what I saw so I subscribed.

Price: $74.95 per month plus shipping w/discounts for 3, 6, and 12 month subscriptions.

The Good:

Products: The products are high end, artisan and great quality.

Information: The include booklet is a wealth of information on the products.

Referral Program: Refer 3 friends and get a free box.

Alcohol: Sometimes they include alcohol which I'm a big fan of.

The Not So Good:

Price: The price is high for a monthly box of surprise items.

Auto-Renew. I don't care much for auto-renew especially on a box with a high price tag.

Contents of the Robb Vices Box:

Highspire Whiskey. Value = $47.99

8oz. 18.21 Bitters Rosemary Sage Syrup. Value = $9.50

18.21 Havana & Hide bitters. Value = $18.99

(2) Sempli cocktail glasses. Value = $52.00

Q Drinks Ginger Ale. Value = $2.62

Dardiman California Crisps dried mandarin. Value = $1.49

Dardiman California Crisps dried blood orange. Value = $1.49

Big Picture Farm Farmstead Goat Milk sea salt & bourbon vanilla caramels. Value = $10.00

$50 off Tommy John Value = $50.00

The total value of this box is about $144.08 not including the gift card. From the looks of it though they have items under $50 so it might only cost the price of shipping. I was trying to figure out how the Tommy John fit in with this box. All I could picture was a man sitting in his underwear drinking a whiskey cocktail eating caramels. It gave me a good laugh. We have been getting into drinking whiskey so this bottle of whiskey came at a perfect time. We made the recipe for the updated old fashioned that was in the book and we very happy with it. I really liked the dried fruit in the drink also. That brings me to the glasses. I've been wanting some glasses like this for awhile but we have so many glasses it seemed frivolous to buy more. I received this same brand caramels in the PopSugar box it will be nice to try a different flavor.

Verdict: This Robb Vices box was a win.
