February Robb Vices Box

Robb Vices is a monthly subscription box focused on exceptional products, food, accessories, etc. Each box is curated and comes with a booklet that tells the story of the items in the box. This box is for those who enjoy the finer things and appreciate the history or story behind it. I only say that because this box is not inexpensive. The price is $74.95 per month plus shipping. I subscribe to the Robb Report and very much enjoy reading it. If you subscribe to the magazine the offer a discount on the box. I researched previous boxes and liked what I saw so I subscribed.

Price: $74.95 per month plus shipping w/discounts for 3, 6, and 12 month subscriptions.

The Good:

Products: The products are high end, artisan and great quality.

Information: The include booklet is a wealth of information on the products.

Referral Program: Refer 3 friends and get a free box.

Alcohol: Sometimes they include alcohol which I'm a big fan of.

The Not So Good:

Price: The price is high for a monthly box of surprise items.

Auto-Renew. I don't care much for auto-renew especially on a box with a high price tag.

February Robb Vice box.

Contents of the Robb Vices Box:

2012 David Estates Merlot. Value = $50.00

Fixx Chocolates / A Tryst. Value = $20.00

Herb & Root Spiced Vanilla Glaze Massage Oil. Value = $30.00

Love is Art kit. Value = $79.00

Museum of Named Diamonds Gift Card. Value = $100.00

The total value of this box is $279.00 including the gift card. I was pretty excited to see the wine since I'm a big red wine fan. I don't have a problem paying $50 for a bottle of wine if I know it's delicious. I've heard good things about this wine so I'm excited to try it. The boyfriend busted open the chocolates and we ate the whole box in one sitting. Yes that really happened. The massage oil smells sooooo good and bonus, it's edible! The love is art kit is kind of funny because a couple of years ago I had this idea to put paints on myself and make a painting using body parts for a valentines days gift. I bought the canvas and paints but didn't actually do it. Turns out I'm not the only one who thought it was a good idea. I didn't take all the components out of the package but it comes with a drop cloth, canvas, slippers, mesh scrubber and paints. The canvas is quite large at about 3' 1/2" x 4' 1/2" and the drop cloth is 10' x 12' which should provide ample coverage for your floor.

Verdict: This Robb Vices box was right on target for the February Valentines theme.
