December Taste Guru Box

Do you live a gluten free lifestyle? Or maybe you know someone who is gluten free? Taste Guru is a whole box of food that is gluten free. Each month Taste Guru sends out a box of gluten free foods that have been tested and reviewed by those who live a gluten free life. The box is shipped monthly and the prices ranges from $20 to $24 a month depending on which plan you sign up for. All plans include shipping.

If you've read my previous Taste Guru reviews you know I've been having issues with shipping. I signed up for a 6 month plan and when their company did some restructuring somehow my account became inactive and I stopped getting my boxes. I thought they would just reactivate my account and send my remaining boxes but that didn't happen. At the end of every month I send an email stating I didn't get that months box and then they send me one. The good thing is I only have 2 months left of this and I've been talking to someone new at Taste Guru so I'm hopeful I'll get my last box without issues.

Price: $24 a month with discounts for 3, 6 and 12 month plans.

This box ships to the USA only from Denver, Colorado.

The good:

Gluten free made easy: This is a great way to try a whole bunch of gluten free foods.

Need a gift: I think this would make a great gift for the gluten free person in your life.

The not so good:

I'm having issues with my subscription but I'm hoping that's not typical with everyone else.

The total value of this box is $34.42. I smiled when I saw the Frutti di Bosco cookies but not because of the product itself but the name. When I was in Italy 10 years ago I made it a point to eat gelato everyday. One day I saw a flavor called Frutti di Bosco which made me laugh because I had a cat named Bosco. I asked what Bosco meant and they said Forest so Frutti di Bosco meant fruit of the forest. I had inadvertently named my cat Forest. Anyway seeing this bag made me smile. Bosco is still with us, currently lounging at my moms house. How he came to live with me then my mom is another story for another day. He's quite the character. Back to the box. I have about a dozen different types of salt in my pantry. This one doesn't have a flavor so I'll be using this soon. The cheese bread looks delicious and they also included a recipe for Fresh Mozzarella & Basil Pizza Muffins using the bread. I will definitely be making this soon! The boyfriend surprised me with a Vitamix for Christmas and I've been thinking of making frozen latte's. Since this coffee makes 8 cups I'm going to use some of it to experiment with my frozen latte's.

Verdict: This box had some really delicious looking products in it and the value is great.
