Winter FabFitFun Box

FabFitFun box is curated by Giuliana Rancic a co-host of E! News. This box is not a monthly subscription but quarterly meaning 4 times a year. Each season you will receive hand-picked, high-end and exclusive gifts including beauty, fashion and fitness products. The items are full sized and premium with a value of $120+. The cost of this box is $49.99 billed every 3 months.

Price: $49.99 every 3 months.

This subscription in available in the US only and ships from Los Angeles, Ca.

The good:

The Products: You will receive mostly full size and premium products in each box and not just beauty items.

The Brands: They send well known premium brands

Quarterly: This is nice because monthly boxes can cause overload.

Info: They send a nice color information sheet that has all the product info and prices on it.

The not so good:

Price: The price is a sticker shock, but it's only 4 times a year as opposed to monthly.

The total value of the first FabFitFun box is $398.03. FFF shows the value to be $383.59 but they didn't include some of the sponsored item and I found the eyeshadows to be more than they listed. I was shocked when I added it up, so shocked I actually added it up twice just to make sure I didn't make an error. Usually I'm not a fan of gift cards in boxes but since you can find items at the gift card amount and it included shipping they are great. I probably won't buy clothing from as they suggest but they other items like DVD's, a cookbook and workout accessories. I've never tried Zumba and I'm told it's super fun and everyone loves it but I'm really uncoordinated when it comes to stuff like that. I could barely manage the stair step class. I'm curious to try the DVD in the privacy of my own home before subjecting the public to my antics. The necklace is ok but I'm not sure what the correlation in between hunger and bullets. I was able to pick the color of the eyeshadow I received (everyone received white). I thought the brown looked sparkly and fall-ish so I picked that one. I can't remember where but I've heard of Salted before and wanted to try it but never got around to it. Now I have a 3 month membership, yay! The Fashion Project is not something I've heard of but I quickly browse around their website before writing this and it's basically a consignment store online. I found several items included purses for less than $30 and with free shipping this gift card is great.

Verdict: This winter box had some great winter items and some new fun items I can't wait to try.
