June Bespoke Post - Bask

Bespoke Post is a monthly subscription box that is geared towards men.  Why they say it's for men is beyond me cause I think lots of woman would love their products.  Maybe it's a marketing thing to get more men to buy and the women don't care if it says it's for men they will buy it anyway.

Bespoke Post advertises their subscription service as a monthly box of awesome.  The way is works is like this.  You subscribe by giving them your email address.  This doesn't obligate you to anything but it will give you the ability to look at the available boxes. If you like the box you can purchase it, if you don't then do nothing.  The price of the box is $45.00 w/shipping included. Once you purchase a box you will get an email every month for that months box. If you decide you don't like that box just skip but make sure and do so by the 5th of the month.  If you don't skip you get a credit towards a future box. I've been a member for about a year and a half but this is only my 4th box. That's how easy it is to skip.

This box ships to the US, Canada and Hawaii. Canadian shipping is an extra $10-$20 and Hawaii is $10.

The good:

Know what your getting: $45 is a lot to spend on a surprise so Bespoke let's you know what the expect and you decide if you want it or not

Don't like the box you received: Bespoke lets you return your box for a refund or credit.  How awesome is that.

Skip a month: don't want any of the boxes, trying to save money - just skip the month

The not so good:

I really can't think of anything

Bespoke Post Bask Box

Contents of the Bespoke Post box w/approximate retail value:

Go Throw Oversized Linen Blanket. Value = $120.00 - This is a really nice, soft big throw. It's 4 1/2' x 6 1/2'. It also folds up nicely so I think I'm going to store it in my trunk.

Chess/Checkers Roll-up kit with 15" x 15" canvas with 32 chess/checker pieces. Value = $12.95??

The total value of my Bespoke Post box is $132.95. I just can't believe anyone would pay $120 for the blanket. It's a nice blanket, soft, big and perfect for traveling but good grief $120??. I'll use a beach towel before I pay that. Since it was such an expensive blanket I thought the box price of $45 was a great deal. I was on vacation last week on the Oregon Coast and was hoping to get this blanket before the trip but I didn't realize it wasn't going to ship until the second half of June. I couldn't find the exact chess/checkers set online but I found similar one for $12.95. I don't have a big use or need for this but it is kind of cool. The only thing that would make it better is if the pieces would stick to the canvas board.

Verdict: I really like the blanket in this box and I like it even more that I got it at a great price!
