December KlutchClub Women's Box

KLUTCHClub is a monthly subscription service that focuses on health & fitness.  KLUTCHClub ships their boxes out on the 15th of every month. They advertise that the boxes contain over $50 worth of products or services such as snacks, new workouts or body care regimens to try.  I've a had a few months where the value was lower than the $50 promised but still higher than the price of the box. I don't count gift certificates or coupons that require out of pocket money in order to use them. KLUTCHClub offers three types subscriptions, one for women and one for men and now one for moms.  KLUTCHClub allows you to sign up monthly, quarterly or yearly. The monthly price is $18 a month, quarterly is $51.00 or $17 a month and the yearly is $192 or $16 a month.  Shipping is included in all of these prices. I had found a deal back in July where I was able to purchase a year for $144 bringing it down to $12 a box.

This subscription is available in the US only and ships from Illinois.

The good:

Healthy: This box is totally dedicated to health and fitness. If you're just starting to get active this is a fun way to try new products or fitness regimens.

Need a gift: Have a health nut friend or want to encourage someone? Send them a month, 3 month or yearly subscription.

Information: They send a little info card on the products included in the box.

The not so good:

Skip a month: No skipping a month option.

December KLUTCHClub Box

Contents of box with approximate retail price/value listed.

Good Boy Organics Bops. Value = $1.04

Core Power Cranberry. Value = $3.00

Harvest Snaps Snapea Crisps. Value = $0.45

Tea of Kind Pomegranate Acai White Tea. Value = $2.50 - This was so crazy. I twisted the cap and liquid shot out of the bottom of the cap into the clear liquid in bottle. I wasn't expecting such a high tech beverage.

Kick Butt Amped Energy Ballz. Value = $1.99

(2) Aquatowels. Value = $0.50/ea.

(2) Celestial Sleepytime Decaf Green Tea. Value = $0.16/ea.

(4) Vita Perks Coffee Supplements. Value = $1.00/ea.

Stur flavored water enhancer in Orange Mango. Value = $4.00

1 oz. Mountain Meadow Herb Herbal Calcium drops. Value = $9.14

MotionTraxx Cardio Star Coached Workout. Value = $9.99

$20 Discount code for Guroo Active Sleeves. Value = Out of Pocket Expense. - The sleeves are $39 with free shipping which make it pretty much half off.

$10 Discount for Cory Vines Activewear. Value = Out of Pocket Expense They have a 3 pack of workout socks for $20 and with the $10 discount and shipping they come out to be $13.95. So its out of pocket but the sock were cute and decently priced so I ordered them.

The total value of this months box is $27.44 and 37.43 if you include the code for the workout. This box is hit and miss. They definitely don't hit the $50 promised in my opinion because I don't count the gift cards unless the item is free. Since I only paid $12 for the box and I will use most of the stuff in here it's a good deal for me. I'm always looking for something to keep me awake during the middle of the night at work so I will gladly try the energy ballz. I've tried the vita perks before and they are ok except they really stain the inside of my reusable Starbucks cups. It's like it doesn't dissolve completely. The boyfriend likes the water enhancer stuff although I think he pours too much into his water. That's probably why he likes it. I love, love, love snapea crisps! A protein drink to start my new year off right!

Verdict: This box was pretty good. I feel like I got my $12 worth.
