Influenster Dr. Scholl's Active Series

Question?  Who doesn't love free stuff?

Influenster is not a monthly subscription service and you don't and can't pay to get boxes from them.  The way it works is you sign up for free on their website and unlock "badges". There are many badges you can unlock depending on your hobbies, lifestyle, where you live, social networking etc.  When the company has a box of items they want tested and reviewed they pick from the Influensters registered and send them goodies.  Once you get the items you are expected to try them out, review them, tell your friends etc.  Doing all of that will ensure that you will remain on the list of influensters that get boxes.  The whole point of Influenster is to get the word out about the products and what better way than word of mouth.  And yes all of this is free, you don't pay to sign up, you don't pay to get a box and you don't pay for anything period.  They send out several boxes a year with different themes and not everyone gets all the boxes.  I recently was invited to try the Dr. Scholl's Active Series insoles and since I've been hitting the gym on a regular basis I jumped at the chance.

After you receive your box of goodies you will receive emails from Influenster telling you about brand challenges and ways to earn more badges.  The more badges you earn the more likely you are to receive a future box.  Basically you get badges for talking about the product and giving your opinion.

I have 5 invites available to send for Influenster. If you are interested in joining send me an email at pixiepowered@hotmail.com and I will send you an invite.

Here is the package with the insoles.

This is what they look like. You can cut the insole down to your size. I wear a size 8 so this fit in my shoe perfectly. These retail for $24.99

I have a pair of Brooks running shoes. I had bought them last year when I wanted to try running again. Turns out I still don't like running but they worked just as well for walking. When I put the Dr. Scholl's insoles in the first thing I noticed was how cushy they were. I looked at the insoles of my Brooks and they had gone pretty flat. Since I've put these in my shoes I haven't wanted to take them out. They fit perfectly and add much needed cushion to my shoes.

Verdict: I would definitely buy these to replace insoles on a tennis shoes that still have life in them.

This was sent complimentary from Influenster and Dr. Scholl's for testing and review purposes.
