L'Oreal Paris Magic Nude Liquid Powder Foundation - review

I was picked to do a review of the new L'Oreal Paris Magic Nude Liquid Powder Foundation for She Speaks. If you read my blog you know I don't normally wear foundation but I do use loose powder daily. I was going to pass on this review but then I thought this product seems to have the best of both liquid and powder. The two things I don't like about liquid is it always seems to make me look shiny and it feels heavy. This claims to be a lightweight foundation with a powdery finish. Well we will just see about that.

I decided to give this a try one day so I got out my foundation brush and for some reason I decided to read the directions on the bottle. I have no idea why I would read the directions since I hardly ever read directions for anything. Right on the bottle is says for best results place a few drops on fingers and apply directly to the skin. Not recommended for use with a sponge or brush. Well, well guess I'll be putting that brush away now. It makes sense though since it has a powdery finish the brush would probably suck up the products and it wouldn't go on evenly.

The retail price of this product is $12.95 for 1 oz. and is available in 12 shades.

This product was provided complimentary for review from She Speaks and L'Oreal Paris.

This is the bottle. I noticed that it has SPF also which is very important to me.

I tried to take a picture of it on my face but they kept turning out blurry and generally not right so I used my hand scar as a test subject for the pictures. This is my scar with nothing on it.

This is the scar with L'Oreal Magic Nude Foundation on it. As you can see it covers the scar but doesn't look thick. It has a matte powder finish and evens out the skin pretty well.

I also used this on my face and I found it to be long lasting provided you are sweating all over the place. I liked the matte finish and I felt like this was an all in one product and didn't require me to use foundation and powder. I would use this again when I want my skin to look extra nice. I wear minimal makeup at work so this isn't something I would wear everyday.
