Julep Galaxy Mystery Box

This is the latest mystery box from Julep called the Galaxy mystery box. They have three options for this box. The first box is called the Pluto Box. It's priced at $19.99 and has a $50.00+ value. The second box is the Cosmic Box. It's priced at $24.99 and comes with a special edition color called Estrelle and has a $70.00+ value. The third box is the Supernova Box. It's priced at $39.99 and comes with Estrelle and has a value of $120.00+. They also had an option for a mystery add-on. For an additional $9.99 you would get product valued at $36.00+. The values they promise are all retail prices and not maven pricing. I knew I wanted the Estelle color but I couldn't decided between Cosmic and Supernova. I ended up choosing the Supernova box and the mystery add-on.

I received Supernova Box Version 2

To order just click here and type in mystery box in the product search field. Today is the last day though so order quick!

These two items were on their own outside the package so assumed it was the add-on mystery product.
The cuticle stick is $22.00 and the nail polish is Carrie $14.00. The value is exactly $36.00.

I was super excited to see product in this box. This is the moisture mask trio $20.00 and the Hand Model Set $40.00.

In addition to the products I also got 8 polishes.
L --> R - America, Veronica, Clio, Estrelle, Lacey, Morgan, Blakely, Joanna

The total value of the Supernova mystery box is $172.00. The total value of the mystery add-on is $36.00. I was very happy with this set. I just gave away my Joanna to the teenager with a promise that she would let me borrow it but now I have another one. That's Karma for ya! I think Blakely is my only duplicate and maybe America but I'm not sure. I'm super excited to try the moisture masks. The hand model set is pretty cool the best part is the oxygen nail treatment. I really like using that when my nails aren't painted. I was happy with my add-on also but mostly because of the hand and cuticle stick. Pretty much every night I put something on my cuticles because they always seem so dry to me. So all in all I spent $50 and got $208 worth of stuff. It breaks down to just over $4 per item and I'm totally ok with that!

  1. Great review! I finally decided to go for this box today, so hopefully I don't get too many duplicates. I'm super excited about all of those products -- I've thought about buying the hand model set several times now!

One question: is there a version 1 to this box? If so, how can I figure out what is in that version?

    Thanks again. :)

    1. There are multiple versions of the mystery boxes. You can search for it online to see if anyone has done a review of the different versions. I think I saw version 1 on facebook and it had polish and products in it. On your invoice it will say which version you got. Good luck!

  2. We got the same box again! The good thing is I don't have to figure out the value of each item :)

    Thanks for posting!

    1. That's so weird that we keep getting the same box. How random. I'm looking forward to the mask set.

  3. Great box! If mine is half as awesome as yours, I'll be happy. Still waiting, so hope it shows up soon!

    1. So far I haven't seen a "bad" box in the bunch. Good luck!
