August KlutchClub Box - Women's Box

KLUTCHClub is a monthly subscription service that focuses on health & fitness.  KLUTCHClub ships their boxes out on the 15th of every month. They advertise that the boxes contain over $50 worth of products or services such as snacks, new workouts or body care regimens to try.  I've a had a few months where the value was lower than the $50 promised but still higher than the price of the box. I don't count gift certificates or coupons that require out of pocket money in order to use them. KLUTCHClub offers three types subscriptions, one for women and one for men and now one for moms.  KLUTCHClub allows you to sign up monthly, quarterly or yearly. The monthly price is $18 a month, quarterly is $51.00 or $17 a month and the yearly is $192 or $16 a month.  Shipping is included in all of these prices.

This subscription is available in the US only and ships from Illinois.

The good:

Healthy: This box is totally dedicated to health and fitness. If you're just starting to get active this is a fun way to try new products or fitness regimens.

Need a gift: Have a health nut friend or want to encourage someone? Send them a month, 3 month or yearly subscription.

Information: They send a little info card on the products included in the box.

The not so good:

Skip a month: No skipping a month option.

The theme is Keep That Summer Glow Going All Year With Healthy Beauty Products.

Gift Certificates..

Contents of box with approximate retail price/value listed.

.24 oz. OMG! Food Company Antioxidant Powder. Value = $0.74

Prep Dish - One Free Week. Value = $25.00

Penta Water. Value = $1.69 - tasted like bottled water to me. nothing exciting.

.5 oz. Juice Beauty Oil Free Moisturizer. Value = $7.00

1.8 oz. Puracyn Wound and Skin Care. Value = $10.81

5 pack Annie Chun Seaweed Snack. Value = $2.21 - I have 3 boxes of these in my pantry right now. I love seaweed!

Ignite Girls 7 Day Summer Skinny Plan Gift Card. Value = $5.00

Nature's Bakery Fig Bar in Whole Wheat Blueberry. Value = $1.25 - love these fig bar.

The total value of this months box is $53.70. The actual value of products is $23.70. I will probably look into the prep dish plan because there is no out of pocket expense but I think the price is a little high for what you get. From what I can tell it's a weekly menu with a grocery list and directions. I'm not sure that's worth $25. The summer skinny plan is an e-book with meal planning and a workout. The fig bar and seaweed are things I normally buy so it's not new but useful. We don't tend to get a lot of cuts and abrasions but I'll put the Puracyn product in our first aid kit. Of course now that I say that I'll probably get some major road rash somewhere but at least I'll be prepared!

Verdict: I happy with this box. I paid $12 so I got my money's worth. Has anyone ever tried Prep Dish??
