July Klutch Club Women's Box

I decided to renew my subscription to KLUTCHClub. The sent me an offer I couldn't refuse. I was able to get a years subscription for half off. It's kind of tricky though because the box itself is $8.00 and shipping is $8.00 making the box $16.00 a month. The 50% off is only taken off the box price of $8 not the total price. Anyway it was still a good deal and made a years subscription $144 or $12 a month. I have always been happy with the value and products in these boxes.

Yeah, Yeah that's all fine and good but what the heck is KLUTCHClubKLUTCHClub is a monthly subscription service that focuses on health & fitness.  KLUTCHClub ships their boxes out on the 15th of every month. They advertise that the boxes contain over $50 worth of products or services such as snacks, new workouts or body care regimens to try.  I've a had a few months where the value was lower than the $50 promised but still higher than the price of the box. I don't count gift certificates or coupons that require out of pocket money in order to use them. KLUTCHClub offers three types subscriptions, one for women and one for men and now one for moms.  KLUTCHClub allows you to sign up monthly, quarterly or yearly. The monthly price is $18 a month, quarterly is $51.00 or $17 a month and the yearly is $192 or $16 a month.  Shipping is included in all of these prices.

This subscription is available in the US only and ships from Illinois.

The good:

Healthy: This box is totally dedicated to health and fitness. If you're just starting to get active this is a fun way to try new products or fitness regimens.

Need a gift: Have a health nut friend or want to encourage someone? Send them a month, 3 month or yearly subscription.

Information: They send a little info card on the products included in the box.

The not so good:

Skip a month: No skipping a month option.

The theme of this month is "Host The Perfect Summer Bash With These Healthy and Gluten Free Goodies"

This is the magazine, gift cards and come coupons that were also included.

Contents of box with approximate retail price/value listed.

BistroMD gift card. Value = $75.00 - 5 day meal plan is $130 and a 7 day is $160

Waves Gear gift card. Value = $25.00 - Sunglasses are $30 with about $5 shipping, so out of pocket would be about $10 - not bad if you want some inexpensive sunglasses.

The total value of this months box is $31.87. I didn't include gift cards because both of them require an out of pocket expense. This is one of those boxes where they don't make the $50 (if you don't count the gift cards) but the value is till more than I paid and I'm happy with everything they sent. I might even try the BistroMD meals. With the coupon you can get 7 days of breakfast, lunch and dinner for $85 or $12 a day. My only problem will be finding freezer space, right now it's pretty full. I think that's a great deal since one lunch meal out is at least $7-$12 and probably not as healthy. I will probably use the sunglasses gift card also. The teenager likes these type of sunglasses and the nice thing is they float, so they are perfect for being around water. The PowerBar things have been popping up everywhere. This must be their new product. I don't eat gluten free on purpose but the recipes in the magazine look good. I'm more of a water purist meaning I don't put flavors in my water but I'll be honest the times I've used additives I've drank more water so maybe there is something to it. I've used Raspberry Ketones before and didn't notice a difference in anything but I'll try them again cause why not.

Verdict: Even though this box is less than the $50 promised it's still more value than I paid and I'm happy with the products inside. I'm even thinking I may use the gift cards from this box.

  1. FYI - I recently rec'd an email from them a year after canceling that I had resubscribed which I did not. I contacted them and they said if I cancelled to ignore the email. Then the box shows up! When u do cancel, u may want to make sure they delete ur credit card info incase they suddenly send u one! I haven't been charged so far, but it's really unsettling!
