April Fancy Box

I've reviewed The Fancy Food Box on here but they also offer just a plain old Fancy Box. Now I don't mean it's a plain box what I mean is it's a box of random items that they choose based on your preferences. When you sign up you tell them your birthday, shirt size, what kind of devices you have and what categories of stuff you like. You can also fill in miscellaneous info you think would be helpful. I told them I love traveling, cooking, baking, I'm a blogger, love anything that has to do with Marines or law enforcement and things like that.  The Fancy box is $39.00 plus $7.95 shipping. Be sure to look for discount codes because there are a lot of them floating around out there. I found a coupon for this one so I paid $22.00.

The good:

Sizes: You get full size food items!

Information: They include a nice card with the product information and picture.

The not so good:

Skip: There is no option to skip a month, only cancel.

Price: The price is a little high - unless of course it has great products and a high value.

I was super excited when I opened this box.

Contents of The Fancy Box with approximate retail price listed:

Black + Blum Bento Box in orange. Value = $23.00

Thumb-Lite Stick-On LED. Value = $15.00 - love having this on my key, although I haven't needed to use it yet.

Merkury Innovations Motion. Value = $25.00

Rainbow Honey Fancy Nail Lacquer in black and red with cuticle balm. Value = $23.50

Vinyl Impression Work Hard Stay Humble wall sticker. Value = $30.97

Bullett Magazine with coupon for 50% off a subscription (which is $40 a year) Value = $12.99 - This magazine was ok, lots of pics of models styled in a way that real world people wouldn't do. The articles on James Franco and Kirsten Dunst were pretty good though. Definitely not worth $13

The total value of this months box is $130.46. Whooooa! Crazy. When I opened the box I saw the Bento Box and was super excited. I've been wanting one of these for a long time but didn't want to pay for it. Yay me! I've also been needing an armband for the gym. I currently carry my cell phone and it's fine when I'm on a cardio machine by not when I'm on the weight machines. I usually tuck it in my bra strap on my shoulder but I think this will work out much better. I don't have a lot of use for a key light but when I have needed one I sure wish I had one. I stuck this on my keys right away! I'm not thinking I will use the vinyl impression, it really doesn't go with anything in my house. I looked them up online though and they are based out of the UK which I found interesting and if you ordered this it would be $15 to ship to the US.

Verdict. I thought this box was fun. They really hit on things that I would enjoy.

  1. Was there any way to get the Rainbow Honey polishes on their own? :( This subscription box seems really cool. I love the bento box. I am on a strict No Buy but damn I made room for Rainbow Honey polishes and not having a complete collection is now killing me, haha. Good review of the other items!

    1. I couldn't find it for sale seperately. Is it good polish? I haven't tried it yet.
