March Eco Emi Box

Eco Emi is a monthly subscription service that sends a minimum of 5 eco-friendly/conscious products to your door for $15 a month w/shipping included.  The products range from beauty, household, food, etc.  They send a really nice variety of items including food, beauty etc. You get a little bit of everything. It's something everyone is your house could enjoy.  My Eco Emi boxes are always nicely packaged and stuffed full of treasures.

This subscription is available in the US only.

The good:

Price: Eco-friendly product samples can be difficult to find.  I appreciate being able to try these products for a fraction of the price of purchasing full size.

Eco-friendly: Every little bit helps

Variety: Not just beauty products.  You get food, home, drinks, etc.

Want more: Sometimes they have left over boxes that they sell after the subscriptions have been sent out.  The cost of these is $15 w/shipping included.  Kinda cool if you really like or know someone that would really like that months box.

Skip a month:  You can put your account on pause if you want to skip.

Information: They put a card in every box with information on the products as well as the price.

The not so good:

Payment: You have to set up a recurring payment through PayPal.  I don't like this because PayPal makes you use your PayPal balance before they take money from your checking/credit card.  I like to save my PayPal balance for misc eBay purchases.

The items ship in a priority mail flat rate box and this it what it looked like when I opened the box.

Here are all the treasures that were in the box.

This lipgloss is a really pretty color.

Contents of box with approximate retail price listed:

Home Free Chocolate Chip Cookies, gluten free. Value = $1.49 - These are crunchy and tasty.

FULL SIZE The All Natural Face Glazed Strawberries Lip Gloss. Value = $4.60

2-4 load packet of Rockin Green Detergent in Smashing Watermelon Classic. Value = $0.33-$0.66

.5 oz. Natural Heavenly Beauty Lavender Vanilla Shea Buter Moisturizer. Value = $1.25 - smelled more vanilla than lavender but I still liked it.  It's think but then melts into an oil type moisturizer but not greasy.

FULL SIZE Belle's Healing Solutions Lavender healing lip balm. Value = $2.99

2.5 oz. Theraganics Detox Charcoal Bar Herbal Soap. Value = $3.50

Teatulia Organic Breakfast Tea. Value = $0.47

.08 oz. Dr. Hauschka Rejuvenating Mask. Value = $4.24

.5 oz. Blissoma Free Rejuvenating Herbal Gel Cleanser and makeup remover. Value = $3.37

The total value of  this box is $22.24-$22.60.  I have another color lip gloss from All Natural Face that I use all the time. I think this color is really pretty. I'm always happy to get laundry detergent and I've used Rockin Green before. It didn't wow me into buying it again but I'll use it. You know I love me a face mask. I would like a peeling one though, those are always fun. More tea for the tea stash - reminds me I need to organize my tea stash.
Verdict: I really enjoy the eco emi box. It includes products I don't normally see when I'm out and about.
