April Conscious Box - Gluten Free

Conscious box now offers 3 types of boxes. The classic, vegan and gluten free.  Each box contains a wide variety of items from food to beauty products to household goodies.  The price is $19.95 a month with shipping included. They also have a 3, 6 and 12 months plans. The 12 month plan is the only one that offers a discount.

There have been a lot of discount floating around for Conscious Box. I happen to find one that made this box only only $1. As I recall it wasn't specific for the Gluten Free box but I wanted to give it a try. I don't have any type of gluten allergies but just thought the box sounded interesting.

The good:

Variety: You get a wide variety of items and the box was packed!

Vegan: If your vegan the vegan box is great for you.

Gluten free: If you live a gluten free life the gluten free box would be great for you.

The not so good:

The price: It's on the high side for subscription boxes but I would consider this a specialty box for sure.

Skip: Currently no option to skip a month

Gluten Free Conscious Box.

Contents of box w/approximate retail price listed:

Brad's Raw Leafy Kale in Nasty Hot. Value = $7.49

2 oz. Clearly Naturals Essentials Vitamin E glycerin soap. Value = $0.85

2 pk QSpeed CoQ10 supplement. Value = $1.25

.24 oz. Totlogic body lotion. Value $0.46

Seventh Generation Mandarin Facial Cloth. Value = $0.20

Everly Pomegranate and Maqui Berry drink mix. Value = $1.00?? - I couldn't find much on this because it's not available to buy yet. They are still fundraising on Kickstarter and if you make a donation of $18 or more they will send you a couple of packs.

.5 oz. Blue Orchid Wildflower Grains scrub. Value = $2.37

2 oz. package Rockin Green Laundry Detergent in classic rock (enough for 2 loads in a top loading machine and 4 loads in an HE machine). Value = $0.85

True Bar. Value = $1.99

1 pouch NurturMe Plump Peas dried organic baby food. Value = $1.25

.45 oz. Dapple Baby Bottle & Dish Liquid. Value = $0.16

The value of my gluten free box is $17.87.  At first I was disappointed in all the baby stuff because I don't have kids. Really the only thing I won't use though is the baby food. Perhaps that will be in a future raffle. I love Kale chips but the nasty hot flavor is a little off putting. I really hope these aren't too spicy. I'm always ok with face cloths, laundry detergent., drink mixes, face scrubs and snack bars.

Verdict: This is a great little box if you live a gluten free or reduced lifestyle.

  1. I was going to say - there were lots of baby stuff. Rock-N-Green is a cloth diaper detergent but you may be able to use it on undies or something.

    1. I wonder why they sent so much baby stuff. I figure the laundry soap can be used on regular clothes also. Maybe I'll use it on my socks, undies and gym clothes.

  2. I got the regular conscious box this month and it was awful! The 2 big samples were repeats from boxes in the last 3 months and everything else consisted of teeny tiny samples and baby oriented samples.....ive decided to cancel!

    1. I didn't mind my classic conscious box this month. I only paid $10 for it though and I definitely got $10 worth
