April Blush Box

***UPDATE Wednesday 4/17***

I called Blush on Monday to try and sort this out. It just didn't make sense to me why I wouldn't get a box and other people in the US do. I spoke to a very nice lady on Monday who kept saying things like "...Sometimes in Canada, ....When you live in Canada..." Finally I stopped her and said "But I don't live in Canada and I have never lived in Canada." (nothing against Canada of course, I just don't happen to have ever lived there). So in the end she couldn't figure it out and said she was going to leave a message for the supervisor and someone would get back to me Tuesday.

Tuesday came and went so I called back on Wednesday. Again I spoke to a very nice lady who said there were no notes on my account about any anything. I went over the issue again and she couldn't understand the problem either. She said she was going to speak to the supervisor and assured me I would hear back from someone by 1:30pm my time. As promised I received an email shortly after speaking with the service rep saying they are processing my order and I should be receiving it soon.  YAY!!

I've really been enjoying my Blush Box. They send full size products that I will actually use.  I was looking forward to this months box but instead of getting a great box I got this dumb email.

What the heck people??? So one item causes cancellation of the whole box? Can't something be substituted for the offending item? My guess is it's nail polish or maybe hair spray that's causing the ruckus. The boyfriend is well versed in all the DOT (Department of Transportation) laws and hazard placards and all the craziness that can and can't be shipped. He once told me the ORM-D sticker that is sometimes on my packages is probably nail polish or some type of of something that could be hazardous in large quantities. I saw das stoopid, I want my treasures!  Oh well, I'm sure I'll get over it. Hopefully May's box will be awesome.

  2. That's crazy to cancel an entire order instead of just the offending item! Did you get any appeasement, or was it just too bad, so sad? :(

  3. Try calling their customer service, sometimes you get a really nice person and they can make the change for you :)

    1. I called last night and the lady I spoke to was really nice but she kept talking about shipping restrictions to Canada and suggested I use my US address. I finally stopped her and told her I don't nor have I ever lived in Canada and she said "oh, well I don't know what happened then, this is odd". She said she would have to speak with a supervisor tomorrow (today) and would get back to me. So the case of the missing box continues.....

    2. That sucks, hopefully they get it sorted out. I can let you know what I get mines but its super good, I will lie and tell you it was utterly crappy :)

    3. I think it was the Vichy Thermal Spa Water [http://www.vichyusa.com/_us/_en/face-care/thermal-spa-water/vichy-thermal-water.htm] which made the cancel the order. I got mines today. It was the hair mask, 1 paula dorf lip liner, 1 eye liner, the vichy water, a 2.0z face wash and 2 small deluxe samples [one was spackle from Laura Gellar and the other was skinmedica a moisturizer ]

    4. I think what happened is for some reason they thought I didn't live in the US. Mine has shipped out, can't wait to see what I get!

  5. I had a problem with them this past month. Mine was that I was trying to skip this month due to taxes being due but not cancel my subscription. They lady assured me online (the chat thing) that I was skipping April and would resume May 20th. Then I got charged 2 weeks after my talking to her. They fixed it though thank goodness. But I had to make sure a few different times they were not cancelling me. They sent me and email saying they were having problems with their system. What they did to you was ridiculous though. >.<
