March Bulu Weight Loss Box

Bulu Box just introduced a new box called the weight loss box.  I've been a subscriber of the original Bulu box for awhile but thought this one might be a better fit for me.  This box will contain a variety of 4-5 weight loss targeting items including but not limited to supplements, fitness tools and healthy eating tools for both men and women. The cost of the box is $10 a month or $110 a year ($10 savings) which brings it down to $9.16 a month. The boxes ship around the 15th of the month so this box will arrive towards the end of every month.  This is a great way to try supplements and weight loss items without spending a ton of money.

This subscription box ships to the US only and ships from Lincoln, Nebraska.

The good:

New products: Weight loss products can be overwhelming and expensive to try.  This allows you to try new products for a low price.

Samples sizes: The sizes are really decent.  I received multiples of a few items which will allow me to try it a couple of times.

Information: They include a card with the product information on it.

Access to products: There are links to purchase the products on the Bulu website'

Point: You can earn points by reviewing products on their websites. Points can be used for discounts on full
size items. I've used my points to by a protein powder I liked.

Skip a month: No but you can put your account on pause.  It will stay in that status until you reactivate it.

The not so good:

You may get products you won't use or don't want to use.  A lot of people don't like taking supplements which I totally respect but I would say this probably isn't the box for you.

Bulu Weight Loss Box.

The information card had a couple of handy quick exercises you can do anywhere.

They also included some recipe cards this month.

Contents of box with retail price listed.

Sleep Better:

2.5 bottle of Dream Water with melatonin. Value = $5.00. - I've tried this before and I think it actually works - either that or it's one of the mind trick things like placebo pills.

All Day Appetite Control:

1 capsule of NRGX Labs Red Stinger. Value = $0.67

Pre Workout Motivation:

1 packet w/ a half serving Prolab Quick Fire drink mix. Value = $0.55

Weight Loss Habit:

FULL SIZE XyloBurst Gum. Value = $1.29

Increase Metabolism:

.17 oz. packet Barlean's Omega Swirl Fish Oil. Value Value = $0.28

Healthy Energy:

2 capsules of Redd Remedies trueENERGY. Value = $1.04

iTrain gift card. Value = $50.00

The total value of my Bulu box is $58.83. I counted the gift card because you can purchase quite a few of the workouts listed for $50.  The only bad part is you have to have an MP3, although it seems most people have one nowadays.  I think I have 3 iTrain gift cards now so when my knee is healed up I should be go to go with personal workouts!  All the other stuff in the box is ok.  I take fish oil everyday and I'm willing to try the energy supplements.

Verdict: This box was better for me than the regular box.  I'll see what next month brings.

  1. Is there an option to have this for just women or is it all unisex? Just curious! =D Thanks for the review! I might give this one a go next month! =)

    1. As far as I know it's all unisex items. If you want to send me your email at I can send you a code for a free box. They always send a little QR code in each box you can scan and email a code to a friend.
