February Eco Emi Box

Here's the basics about Eco Emi.  It's a monthly subscription service that sends a minimum of 5 eco-friendly/conscious products to your door for $15 a month w/shipping included.  The products range from beauty, household, food, etc.  I really enjoy the variety of items they send.  It's not just food, beauty etc. You get a little bit of everything. It's something everyone is your house could enjoy.  My Eco Emi boxes are always nicely packaged and chock-full of goodies.

The good:

Price: Eco-friendly product samples can be difficult to find.  I appreciate being able to try these products for a fraction of the price of purchasing full size.

Eco-friendly: Every little bit helps

Variety: Not just beauty products.  You get food, home, drinks, etc.

Want more: Sometimes they have left over boxes that they sell after the subscriptions have been sent out.  The cost of these is $15 w/shipping included.  Kinda cool if you really like or know someone that would really like that months box.

Skip a month:  You can put your account on pause if you want to skip.

Information: They put a card in every box with information on the products as well as the price.

The not so good:

Payment: You have to set up a recurring payment through PayPal.  I don't like this because PayPal makes you use your PayPal balance before they take money from your checking/credit card.  I like to save my PayPal balance for misc eBay purchases.

This is the cute little tin all the treasures were packed in this month.

Here are all the treasures for February.

Contents of box with approximate retail price listed:

2 oz. Serenity Vegan hair gel by .ily. Value = $4.00 (8 oz. $16.00)

.25 oz. Exfoliate foaming Vegan cleanser by Suki. Value = $2.06 (4 oz. $32.95)

small pot of Berry Red Lip Gloss by Purely You Minerals. Value = (Full size $7.00)

Athena Greek yogurt bar in pumpkin spice. Value = $1.89

1 package of Vitacare Key Lime and Mint gum. Value = $1.99

.17 oz. Collagen & Almond enriching moisturizing lotion by Aubrey. Value = $0.14 (12 oz. $9.99)

Moody Sisters Peppermint Spice Lip balm. Value = $3.95

1 packet of The Amazing Trio, Barley Grass, Wheat Grass and Alfalfa. Value = $1.47

The total value of  this box is $15.50 not including the tin or lip gloss sample.  I would guess those products add a couple of dollars to the value.  The lip gloss is super pretty but I don't think I have a lip brush.  I'll have to search the ol make up bag for one.  The Athena bar sounds delicious!  I'm really curious about the vegan hair gel.  I wouldn't think a hair gel wouldn't be vegan so I'm going to compare ingredients and see what the difference is.  I'm up to my eyes in lip balm and gum right now but I'll try these eventually.  I think the tin is really cute and I'm sure I'll use it to store some sort of treasures.

Verdict: great all around box with lots of variety.

**I am not any type of sponsor paid or unpaid for Eco Emi.  I purchase these subscriptions myself.
