February Blissmo Box

The Blissmo box is a monthly subscription service geared toward organic & eco products that are described as safer and better for you.  Each month they offer different boxes to choose from which vary based on themes or seasons. They offer various pricing structures depending monthly, 6 months or yearly.  The base price is always $19.95 but for monthly subscriptions add $4.95 shipping ($24.90 a month) and for 6 months subscriptions ($119.70) shipping is included. The company advertises that you will receive between $19-$40 worth of items for your $19-24.95.

Each month they send you an email with a choice of 2-3 boxes to pick from.  I've never had an issue of them running out of the box I want but I usually pick my box within a day or two of getting the email.

This subscription is available in the US only.

The good:

Like trying new things but not sure what to try? This is a good way to start trying new products without being overwhelmed or spending a bunch of money.

Variety: They offer different theme boxes.

Pricing: The company changed their pricing structure.  If you plan on subscribing yearly they give you free shipping.

Information: They include a card with information about the company and their products.  Also on the card they list the value of each item received, I really appreciate this.

The not so good:

Skip a month? Yes, now you can skip a month and you won't be charged.

This is a picture of what the select your box email looks like.  They don't tell you what's in the box but give you little descriptions.  Through the email you click to their site and select your box. They send the emails mid-month and give you about a week to decide.

Baking & Pantry Favorites.

Contents of box with retail price listed:

4 oz. bag of Jovial einkorn penne pasta. Value = $1.00 - I've had this pasta before and I really liked it. It's thick and has substance to it.

Meshy hotSACKS. Value = $1.25

Zoe extra virgin olive oil. Value = $9.99

package of Chia Seed Co chia shot. Value = $0.71 - I'm not a chia seed fan but I know they are good for you.  I add this to yogurt and it's not too bad.

Wild Squirrel Vanilla Espresso Almond nut butter. Value = $1.20

Cafe Campesino Guatamale full city roast ground coffee. Value = $4.95

packet of Bakery on Main Maple Multigrain Muffin Oatmeal. Value = $1.00 - This was VERY good.  It has 10 grams of sugar per packet so I wouldn't want to eat it everyday but it was really tasty.

Honey Republic organic honey. Value = $10.99

Pamela's products microwaveable brownie mix. Value = $1.99

Box of Stash organic lavender tulsi herbal tea. Value = $4.25

The total value of my box is $37.33.  I was super excited about this box.  It had things that I had previously received from other Blissmo boxes but since I liked those items I was totally ok with that.  I've been using the olive oil to make dressings and to cook with and I'm almost out so this came just in time.  I ate pasta one day for lunch and I really like the texture of it.  It had substance.  I received the meshy sacks before and I stuck them somewhere but I can't seem to find them.  Tea and honey is always good to have on hand - although I will say I'm overflowing with teas right now.  The microwave brownie makes it all too easy to eat a brownie, can't wait to try it.

Verdict: Blissmo box always has a nice variety of treasures in it.

I am not any type of sponsor paid of unpaid for Blissmo.  I purchase these subscriptions myself.
