The not so good:
Skip a month? There is no option to skip a month. You have to cancel.
This is the cute bag. It's navy blue and the inside has star printed material inside.
Contents of bag with value and approximate retail price:
FULL SIZE Nailtini nail polish in Frappe (sheer pale pink). Value = $13.00
1.7 oz. bottle Josie Maran Pure Argan Oil. Value = $4.67
FULL SIZE Pacifica Tuscan Blood Orange Body Butter. Value = $7.00
1.5 oz. Sexy Hair Spray & Play. Value = $6.00 - I love this stuff. It gives your hair volume and sort of pieces it out which makes colors stand out.
Soho London Get a Grip Ergonomic Crease Brush. Value = $8.99
Navy Blue makeup bag.
The total value of this months bag is $39.66 not including the makeup bag. For me this was a great bag. The only thing I'm not to into is the nail polish because it's such a light color and I normally wear brights or darks. I use Sexy Hair products and I use the spray & play which isn't cheap so this was super cool for me. I've used Argan oil before and liked it. I actually read the box on this and discovered you can use it on hair, nails, body, baths, etc. I use lotion everyday and the blood orange smells delicious! I didn't really need another makeup brush but I'll add it to my collection and use it eventually I'm sure. I am actually curious about it since it says it's ergonomically designed.
Verdict: Ipsy is consistently a great all around inexpensive beauty subscription. I'm keeping this one.
**I am not any type of sponsor paid or unpaid for Ipsy. I pay for these subscriptions myself.
Ooh you can do French Tips with the Nailtini!
ReplyDeleteI have been subscribed to Ipsy for three months. I love all the products but, sadly, I wish the bags were more fun, LOL! I have a plain brown one, plain silver and now plain blue. I know, I know - it's not really about the bags. But I do hope some brighter, funner ones are in our future.
I didn't even think about french tips. Thanks for the idea, now I'm a little more excited about the color. They used to sent really colorful bags before they changed their name to ipsy. I wonder if they will be more colorful in the summer?
