December Blissmo Box Feel-Good Snacks

The Blissmo box is a monthly subscription service geared toward organic & eco products that are described as safer and better for you.  Each month they offer different boxes to choose from which vary based on themes or seasons. They offer various pricing structures depending monthly, 6 months or yearly.  The base price is always $19 but for monthly subscriptions add $5.95 shipping for 6 months subscriptions add $2.95 shipping and for yearly subscriptions shipping is free.  The company advertises that you will receive between $19-$40 worth of items for your $19-24.95.

Each month they send you an email with a choice of 2-3 boxes to pick from.  I've never had an issue of them running out of the box I want but I usually pick my box within a day or two of getting the email.

This is the December box but I just received it on January 9th.  This is pretty normal for Blissmo,  You pick which box you want around the middle of the month and they ship at the end of the month.

The good:

Like trying new things but not sure what to try? This is a good way to start trying new products without being overwhelmed or spending a bunch of money.

Variety: They offer different theme boxes.

Pricing: The company changed their pricing structure.  If you plan on subscribing yearly they give you free shipping.

Information: They include a card with information about the company and their products.  Also on the card they list the value of each item received, I really appreciate this.

The not so good:

Skip a month? Yes, now you can skip a month and you won't be charged.

This is a picture of what the select your box email looks like.  They don't tell you what's in the box but give you little descriptions.  Through the email you click to their site and select your box. They send the emails mid-month and give you about a week to decide.

This is an example of the email they send.  This month there were 3 boxes to choose from.

Contents of box with retail price listed:

1 oz bag Funky Monkey Jivealime dried fruit snacks. Value = $2.49 - these were way too limey for me.  I had planned to eat the whole bag as a snack but could only eat a few.

1.5 oz. bag RW Garcia 3 seed Dipper Chips.  Value = $1.00

Probar meal bar in peanut butter chocolate chip.  Value = $2.99

6 pieces of Amella Gray Sea Salt Agave Caramels.  Value = $11.00 - I couldn't resist trying one of these just after I took the picture.  I have no words to describe how delicious these are.  The sea salt was perfect and the caramel was soft and melt in your mouth delicious!

.22 oz. bag of 34 degrees Crisps.  Value = $0.34 - These are super light and crispy.  If you like the texture of regular potato chips but don't want to eat a chip this is a good substitute for that.

1.25 oz. bag of Lucy's Chocolate Chip cookies.  Value = $1.15

1.41 oz bag of Melzy Figamajigs.  Value = $1.99

(2) packets of Baobab Peach Mango drink mix. Value = $1.75/ea

(2) packets of Baobab Meyer Lemon drink mix.  Value = $1.75/ea

The total value of my box is $27.96.  The price of the box is $19-$24.95 depending on how you subscribe.  I think this is a great big box of snacks and a great value.  Jivealime must be the new flavor from Funky Monkey because this keeps showing up in my boxes.  I can't get over how delicious the caramels were.  I really had to restrain myself from eating more than one.  I've had the Figamajigs before and I really like them.  They don't have a real strong fig taste but it's like a chewy chocolate fruit chew.  I was surprised at the crisps and I would buy these to eat in lieu of chips.  The Probar feels really substantial and could probably be a meal on the go.  I hope it tastes good.

Verdict: Blissmo box always has a nice variety of treasures in it.

I am not any type of sponsor paid of unpaid for Blissmo.  I purchase these subscriptions myself.

    1. Blissmo has always been a good box for me. I usually go with their food themed boxes because I get other beauty type boxes. Those caramels are so delicious - I think I'll go get myself one right now.....

  2. Oh my gosh you almost made me regret my decision to not go with the Feel Good snacks option for Jan just because of those caramels! Luckily, they pop up around the LA area from what I've seen on their FB page so I can buy some eventually. Nom nom nom.

    3. I was debating between that one and this one. Sounds like they were both good boxes. I actually skipped January so you will have to let me know what you get.
