Cravebox Teen Time

Cravebox has changed they way they send out their boxes.  They no longer offer a subscription service and limited edition boxes.  Now they just offer Craveboxes and this is how it works.  If you sign up for on their website to be notified when a box becomes available they will send you an email.  You submit your entry and if picked they send you out a box.  They will tell you the price of the box in advance but you don't get to know what's in the box, just the theme of the box.

This box offered is the Teen Time Box.  The price of this box was $11.00.  Now I'm far from a teen but I am a girl and there is a teen in my house so I figured why not.  Also we end up sharing a lot of stuff anyway so it really doesn't matter.

The good:

Themed Boxes: While you don't know what exactly is coming in your box you know the general theme and the price it will be.

The price: I don't think  I've ever paid more than $14.00 and the value (with the exception of 1 box) was always great.

Referral program: If someone lists your user name as a referral you earn points which may get you a free box.  Also it's retroactive meaning you can add someone's user name even if you signed up months ago.  I wish it were clickable link but it's very cool none the less. My user name is pixiepower.

The not so good:

I can't think of anything.

                          Teen Time treasures from Cravebox.

Contents of box with retail value listed:

Schick Intuition Tropical Splash razor. Value = $10.99 - I've used these before and didn't really like it.  I'm passing this on to the teen.

Mary Kay lip gloss in pink parfait. Value = $14.00

.9 oz Pantene Silky Moisture Whip. Value = $1.07 (5.29 oz. $6.29)

.5 oz bottle Fruit of the Earth Vitamin E skin care oil.  Value = $7.50

1 pkg. Stride ID gum in spearmint.  Value = $1.29 - pretty fancy packaging.  It had a magnetic closure which is nice so you gum doesn't come out of the package AND you can stick it to the fridge!
The total value of the Teen Time is $34.85.  I think this is a great little box.  The Mary Kay lip gloss really isn't my color and the teen isn't into a pink anything but I may give it a try anyway.  I love the vitamin E oil.  I'm very accident prone in the kitchen so I have a few scars I can use this on.  Usually I use regular vitamin E pills but this smells nicer.  I'm always happy to get hair products and since the teen doesn't use mousse it's mine, all mine!
Verdict: This was a terrific box!

I am not any type of sponsor paid or unpaid for Cravebox.  I purchase these boxes myself.
