November Samplrs Box

Samplrs is a monthly subscription service that revolves around food.  Each month you will receive 4-6 full size products from up and coming food artisans.  The cost is $29.99 a month w/shipping included.  That's a little higher than other food subscriptions but if you like trying new artisan type foods it's well worth it.

The good:

Sizes: The company gives you full sizes of the products.  Now you don't have to hide your treasures from other people, unless you don't want to share.

Price: If you are into gourmet food items then the price is awesome.  These are not products you are likely going to find on sale in your local grocery store.

Discounts: You can buy the products you receive on the Samplrs website and in addition you can earn points which can be used for discounts in the marketplace

Information: They include a card with the product information.

Vegetarian: You can opt to receive an vegetarian-only box which will contain vegetarian alternatives to featured meat products.

Skip: Yep you can skip a month by calling or emailing them before the month's cut off date.

The not so good:

I got nothin'

Contents of Samplrs Box.

11.5 oz. jar La Esquina Black Bean Dip. Value = $8.00 - I used this as a dip with Triscuits.  It was nice and thick and had a little spice to it.  I think this would be nice in a quesadilla also.

3 pk. New York Superfoods Nutty Cranberry Chia Chargers. Value = $12.00 - I'll be honest these looked really dry and not good tasting and I don't like chia.  They weren't the most phenomenal snack I've ever tried but they weren't bad.  It's all held together by peanut butter which greatly improved the taste in my opinion.  It has 460mg of Omega-3 in each charger so that makes it worth eating.

3 Butter + Love Gingerbread Mustache cookies. Value = $5.00 - Very cute tasty little gingerbread cookie.

2 oz. Fine & Raw Dark Chocolate w/Blueberries bar. Value = $9.00 - Delicious!  It had large chunks of blueberries in it that I could actually taste.

3 oz. tin Brewklyn Grind Sweet Green Tea. Value = $10.00 - I don't usually add sweetener to my tea but this was a little bitter to me.  I have some agave syrup on hand so I added some of that and it was perfect.

The total value of my Samplrs box is $44.00.  This particular box has some great variety in it.  There's healthy stuff, cookies, tea, chocolate and even a dip.  Doesn't get better than that.

Verdict. This box never disappoints.  It consistently offers great stuff and a great value.

I am not any type of sponsor paid or unpaid for Samplrs.  I purchase these subscriptions myself.
