November Eco Emi Box

I just realized I totally forgot to write about last months Eco-Emi box.  It wasn't because it wasn't exciting or anything like that.  Quite the contrary.  It had some really cool stuff in it.  I think I just got busy and totally forgot about it.
Here's the basics about Eco Emi.  It's a monthly subscription service that sends a minimum of 5 eco-friendly/conscious products to your door for $15 a month w/shipping included.  The products range from beauty, household, food, etc.  I really enjoy the variety of items they send.  It's not just food, beauty etc. You get a little bit of everything. It's something everyone is your house could enjoy.  My eco-emi boxes are always nicely packaged and chock-full of goodies.

The good:

Price: Eco-friendly product samples can be difficult to find.  I appreciate being able to try these products for a fraction of the price of purchasing full size.

Eco-friendly: Every little bit helps

Variety: Not just beauty products.  You get food, home, drinks, etc.

Want more: Sometimes they have left over boxes that they sell after the subscriptions have been sent out.  The cost of these is $15 w/shipping included.  Kinda cool if you really like or know someone that would really like that months box.

Skip a month:  You can put your account on pause if you want to skip.

Information: They put a card in every box with information on the products as well as the price.

The not so good:

Payment: You have to set up a recurring payment through PayPal.  I don't like this because PayPal makes you use your PayPal balance before they take money from your checking/credit card.  I like to save my PayPal balance for misc eBay purchases.

Look at this cute little plastic container.  I'm going to reuse this for wrapping a Christmas present.

.25 oz. packet Organic Indulgence Orchard Pear & Fig Silkening body lotion. Value = $0.31 (8 oz. $9.95)

The total value of  this box is $19.58. It really a lot of variety which is what I like most about Eco Emi.  The eyeshadow samples were very small probably enough for 4-5 uses each so I couldn't determine a value.  I like that it's enough to use a few times though to really see if you like it.  I can't wait to use the Seaweed bath powder, that's looks great!  The clove soap smells great and although it's also a small sample there is still enough to use a few times.  I'm very interested in the foot stick.  I tend to not get as many pedicures during the winter months so hopefully this will be a nice in between pedi's foot softener.

Verdict: great all around box with lots of variety.

**I am not any type of sponsor paid or unpaid for Eco-Emi.  I purchase these subscriptions myself.
