Holiday Spruce-Up Cravebox

Cravebox has changed they way they send out their boxes.  They no longer offer a subscription service and limited edition boxes.  Now they just offer Craveboxes and this is how it works.  If you sign up for on their website to be notified when a box becomes available they will send you an email.  You submit your entry and if picked they send you out a box.  They will tell you the price of the box in advance but you don't get to know what's in the box, just the theme of the box.

This box offered is the Holiday Spruce-Up Cravebox.  The price of this box was $13.00.

The good:

Themed Boxes: While you don't know what exactly is coming in your box you know the general theme and the price it will be.

The price: I don't think  I've ever paid more than $14.00 and the value (with the exception of 1 box) was always great.

The not so good:

I can't think of anything.

Look at all these goodies.  I was super excited about this box. Also note everything in this box is full sized!

Contents of box with retail price listed:

13 oz. OxiClean dish washing booster. Value = $6.99

(1) Bissell Stomp-in-go Stain Lifting Pads. Value = $1.00 (box of 5 $4.99)

1 Tide Laundry Pod. Value = $0.29 (35 pods $9.99)

Febreze Set & Refresh in New Zealand Springs scent. Value = $3.99

Coupon for $2.00 off Biz

Coupon for $1.00 off Mean Green Super Strength Cleaner & Degreaser.

The total value of the Holiday Spruce-Up box is $12.27.  This is a little odd for Cravebox because usually the value is way more and the products are more exciting.  It's almost like a product is missing from the box. Regardless everything in here will get used right away except the stain lifting pads.  I've been wanting to try the Tide pods and air fresheners are always useful.  I'm pretty loyal to Jet Dry for my dish washing boosters but I like OxiClean products so I'm curious about this.

Verdict: While this box was a little lack luster others have been great!

I am not any type of sponsor paid or unpaid for Cravebox.  I purchase these boxes myself.

  1. I got this box and wasn't thrilled with it. A lot of people were concerned about the Tide thing because children have been known to mistake them for candy (I have kids, even if you hide stuff they get into things) and I don't own a dishwasher. BUT going to give away what I won't use to family and hang on to the dishwasher detergent because I hope to have one soon!!!

    1. I remember when I didn't have a dishwasher. My boyfriend teases me because I still wash a lot of dishes by hand. I've heard the tide thing looking like candy and I have to say it's bright and I can see how a kid would be attracted to that.
