December Love with Food

Love with Food is a monthly subscription box for food.  The price is $10 plus $2 for shipping a month or you can sign up for a 6 month plan and shipping is only $1 or a yearly plan and shipping is free which makes the boxes an even $10.  In addition to yummy treats for every box sold they donate a meal to a hungry child. I've enjoyed all my boxes so I signed up for a yearly membership.

Each month is a different theme and you will receive 5+ gourmet food items.   You don't get to pick you items so it's a complete surprise.  If you like what you get then you can log onto the Love with Food website and order the products at a special discount.  This months theme is Happy Holidays.

The good:

The price: $10-$12 is a reasonable price to pay for yummy treats AND you're donating a meal.

Need a gift: You can send a 3 or 6 month subscription to a friend.  Who wouldn't love getting tasty treats in the mail?

Variety: You get a lot of variety in each box.

Discounts: You can earn points for discounts off future full size product purchases by submitting reviews on their website or referring new members.

The not so good:

Skip a month: Skipping is not an option.  If you don't want a box you will have to cancel.

All my Love with Food treasures.

Contents of box w/retail price listed:

1.5 oz. Nunes Farms Honey Cinnamon Almonds. Value = $1.00

(4) Holiday Salt Water Taffy from Taffy Town. Value = $0.25/ea. I'm guessing (12 oz. bag $10.00)

1 Belgian Milk-Chocolate Dipped Nutter Butter from the Big Chocolate Dippers. Value = $1.25 - I was looking forward to trying this but someone (most likely the boyfriend) got to it first

(2) Candy Cane Truffle from Kara Chocolates. Value = $0.50/ea es $12.00) - I was told by the boyfriend and the teenager that these were really good but I didn't get to try any.

1 single serve packet Mocha Mint Cappuccino from Hills Brothers. Value = $1.00

1 Gingerbread boy cookie from Nikki's Cookies. Value = $2.35 - I did manage to get my hands on this and it was very good.  It has a lot of ginger flavor but the white chocolate coating on the back complimented it nicely.

(2) Madecasse Chocolate Tasting Squares. Value = $0.37/ea. - always a nice treat.

1 oz. bag Fleur de Sel Caramel popcorn from 479 popcorn. Value = $2.25 - very good popcorn, had the whole salty sweet thing going for it.

$10 gift voucher for Ecomom

The total value of this months box is $10.59.  There were a lot of really yummy snacks in this box.  As you can see most of it was eaten right away.  Remember in addition to all the goodies they donate a meal.

Verdict: overall I love my Love with Food boxes so it's a keeper

**I am not any type of sponsor paid or unpaid for Love with Food.  I purchase these subscriptions myself.
