December Ipsy Bag

Ipsy bag time.  I gotta be honest I'm not really digging the Ipsy name.  No one knows what it means when you talk about it.  Glam bag was way more descriptive.  No matter on the name because I do enjoy my Ipsy bags.  The value of the Ipsy bag has always been high compared to the price paid.  I have had a few items I didn't care for but I figure better to try them inexpensively than pay full price and not like it.   With Ipsy you receive 4-5 samples and a makeup bag for $10 a month with shipping included. If you sign up yearly it's $110 which brings the price down the $9.16 a month with shipping included.

The good:

The samples.  They seem to include at least one full size sample each month, which is nice.

The packaging. Each month the products come in a cute makeup bag for all your goodies.

Discounts: The almost always offer a discount on any additional purchases you want to make.

The not so good:

Skip a month? There is no option to skip a month.  You have to cancel.

Ipsy Treasures.

Contents of bag with value and retail price:

.12 oz. Urban Decay Naked Skin Beauty Balm. - I have no idea what the value is because this is a new product that hasn't been released yet.  It's expected release date in sometime in January.

$20 off Just Fab purchase for new members only.

Silver makeup bag

The total value of my Ipsy bag is $75.75, not including the makeup bag.  All that for only $10!  It seems the ipsy bags are getting better and better.  This bag included three full size products and good ones too.  I love the Urban Decay brand.  I find their colors to be rich and they look great on.  The lip gloss is red, red, red and I may just wear this on New Years.  I've never heard of highlighting paper so I'll be interested in how it works.  It was exciting to get a product from Urban Decay that isn't even out yet.

Verdict: This is a nice inexpensive subscription for makeup.  It's a keeper for me.

**I am not any type of sponsor paid or unpaid for Ipsy.  I pay for these subscriptions myself.
