November Love with Food Box

Love with Food is a monthly food subscription box.  The price is $10 plus $2 for shipping a month or you can sign up for a 6 month plan and shipping is only $1 or a yearly plan and shipping is free which makes the boxes an even $10.  In addition to yummy treats for every box sold they donate a meal to a hungry child. I've enjoyed all my boxes so I signed up for a yearly membership.

Each month is a different theme and you will receive 5+ gourmet food items.   You don't get to pick you items so it's a complete surprise.  If you like what you get then you can log onto the Love with Food website and order the products at a special discount.  This months theme is Happy Thanksgiving with Amy Roloff.

The good:

The price: $10-$12 is a reasonable price to pay for yummy treats AND you're donating a meal.

Need a gift: You can send a 3 or 6 month subscription to a friend.  Who wouldn't love getting tasty treats in the mail?

Variety: You get a lot of variety in each box.

Discounts: You can earn points for discounts off future full size product purchases by submitting reviews on their website or referring new members.

The not so good:

Skip a month: Skipping is not an option.  If you don't want a box you will have to cancel.

Contents of box with full size retail price listed in parenthesis:

1 Hagensborg Chocolate Truffle Pig. Value = $1.00 - I love these little piggies. The only thing that would've made this better is if it were dark chocolate.

1.7 oz. bag of Inka Crops Inka Corn. Value = $0.81 - This is basically corn nuts only a million times better.  The kernels are huge and when you bite into them they are kind of airy.  I don't mean like they don't have substance airy but they don't hurt your teeth airy.

1 pk of 2 chocolate chunk cookie from Skeeter Snacks. Value = $3.99 - I'm not a huge fan of hard cookies but this was pretty tasty.  Also they are nut free for those who have nut allergies.

4.2 oz. package of Fruit.0 Mango Pear Pineapple drink. Value = $2.30

.71 oz bag of Mrs. May's Mini Crunch. Value - $1.27

.6 oz package of Turkey Bak Kwa Jerky from Little Red Dot Kitchen. Value = $1.25 - I've had these before in another box and it was delicious!

1 pkt. of Aspen Milling Co. Original Milling Spices Blend. Value = $1.19

1 pkt. Stash Tea Company Pumpkin Spice Tea. Value = $0.18

Access to purchase a signed copy of Short and Simple Family Recipes by Amy Roloff for $25.00

The total value of this months box is $11.99.  Wow right on the money with this.  I love the fall because that's when you start seeing all the spices and pumpkin flavored goodies come out.

Verdict: overall I love my Love with Food boxes so it's a keeper

**I am not any type of sponsor paid or unpaid for Love with Food.  I purchase these subscriptions myself.

  1. So you were pleased by little people big world person?

    1. If Amy truly curated this box on her own I think she did a great job. It had a protein, sweet snack, salty snacks, something to drink and a little dessert. Great all around box.

    2. oh yeah and i recieved a dark chocolate truffle pig. It was delicious, so sad that you got the milk chocolat, but it was probably still really good.

    3. Curses to you and your dark chocolate truffle pig! Just kidding of course. Glad you got the dark chocolate one they are delicious!

  2. did you revieve your bulu box for this month yet? I just did and everything was good exept for these weight loss drink thing that tasted like chalk. there were also flowery smelling deoderant wipes that are useless for me since i am a guy.

    1. I just received it last weekend. I haven't tried anything from the box yet. Were the deodorant wipes strong smelling? I bet you couldn't got away with using it and no one would've noticed.
