October NatureBox

Nature Box is a food related monthly subscription that sends 15-20 servings of delicious snacks from 4-6 different items.  Their products contain no high fructose corn syrup, no partially hydrogenated oils, no trans fat, no artificial sweeteners, flavors or colors.  The cost for this subscription is $19.95 shipping included.  In addition for every Nature Box sent out they donate a meal through Feeding America.  This month the theme of the box is Boost your Immunity
The good:

Good for you: You get snacks for you and your family that are good for you.

Variety: There is something for everyone, fruit, nuts, rice crackers.

Skip a month: Yes you can skip a month or have your box sent to a friend.  The not so good is you have to call in order to do this.  There is no online option for this feature.

Need a gift: You can send a 3, 6 or 12 month gift subscription.  Perfect for college students, frequent travelers, moms, singles, really anyone!

The not so good:

Want more: Love you snack and want to order more?  Currently they don't have an option to purchase more but they are working on making that a possibility.

Contents of my Nature Box:

(3.5) 1/4c servings Antioxidant Boost mix.

(4.5) 1/3c servings Cherry Berry Granola

(4.5) 1 oz. servings Sticks 'n Stones mix

4 servings Blueberry Almond Bites

3 servings Sun-Dried California Apricots

Recipe for Chicken Gone Nuts - using the Sticks 'n Stones mix from www.momables.com

I couldn't really determine a value of the products because there is so much variation in food.  I looked at a couple of organic dried fruit items online and they were about $4.50 a bag.  I know when I've purchased nuts before in a package or bulk it's about $3-$5 depending on the brand, etc.  What I received this month works out to be $4.00 a bag and I think that's pretty average for these type of snacks. I like that that send a variety of items because I enjoy the mixed nuts items but the boyfriend is more of a dried fruit kind guy.

Verdict: Great variety of items and great healthy snacks.

I am not any type of sponsor paid or unpaid for Nature Box.  I purchase these subscriptions myself.
