Beauty Army August Kit

**Congratulations to Beauty Army for being my 100th post!  And thank you to everyone who reads my little blog.  I will toast this moment with a glass of wine tonight.  Thank you everyone!***

I really do love my Beauty Army kits.  I really enjoy my other subscriptions too but the nice thing about Beauty Army is you can choose your samples.  They consistently have deluxe size samples from known brands and the value is always way over the amount paid.

Here's how Beauty Army works.  You get to choose up to 6 items to try out from a selection of 9 items. The selection window is open for 5 days based on the day you signed up.  I happened to sign up on the 1st of the month so my window starts then.  They update their stock daily so what's available one day may not be available the next.  The price is $12 a month and that includes shipping. They also offer a yearly deal for $132 which means your 12th month is free dropping the price down to $11 a month.

The Good:

The brands: You will get options from Joico, Cellceuticals, LaRocca, Freeman, Barbor, StriVectin, etc. These are well known brands. They also say they use brands from emerging companies which is also fun.

The box/kit: I am very impressed with the little box it comes in. It's a well made sturdy reusable box hat can be used for gifting treasure boxes of your own making, keeping your treasures organized, etc.

The price: $12 Shipping included seems reasonable to me to be able to try a useful amount of product. Also you are picking the items out so theoretically you will always get something you will use.

Customer Service: I've had to email customer service for an issue and they were very prompt in responding and fixing the issue.  They seem to really care about their customers happiness with their products.

Skip a month: Not feeling it this month? unexpected bills? now you can skip the month. If you are a yearly member and skip the month then another month will be added to the end.  Yay!

The not so Good:

I honestly couldn't think of anything to put here.  Yep they are that good!

Contents of box.  (full size amount and price in parenthesis)

.33 oz. Cellceuticals Ceractive Moisturizer. Value = $7.92 (2 oz. $47.50)

3 oz. Bath and Body Works Japanese Cherry Blossom shower gel. Value = $3.30 (10 oz $11.00) - I've used this stuff for years, smells good, lathers nicely.

.1 oz. Atzen protective Day Cream. Value = $4.65 (1.7 oz. $79.00)

1 La Fresh oil free face cleaner. Value =  $0.50 (10 pk. $4.99) - This was ok but I still love my Neutrogena face cleaners.

Full Size 3 oz. Freeman Vita K for age spots. Value = 14.99

1 set of Eyecandy coolers. Value $12.00 - I don't know about you but I don't wake up in the morning looking like a Disney princess.  I put these on my eyes for a couple minutes after my shower to sort of wake them up and de-puff if needed.

The total value of my kit is $43.36.  I was super excited to see the eyecandy coolers back as pick available to me.  I had been wanted to try them for awhile now.  I have tried other Cellceutical items and really like them so I went with that item.  I was so happy with the Vita-K for spider veins last month I thought I should try the age spot stuff for those pesky little summer spots that appear.

Verdict: I'm very happy with all my kits,  It's a keeper!

**I am not any type of sponsor paid or unpaid for Beauty Army. I purchase these kits myself.
