June Love with Food box

Love with Food is a monthly food subscription box.  I signed up with Love with Food because I love getting treasures, I love food and because for each box purchased they donate a meal.  When I started receiving my boxes I liked the contents so I kept the subscription going.  The price is $10 a month plus $2 for shipping for a total of $12.  They just recently changed their pricing and now you can sign up for yearly memberships and in doing so you get free shipping bring the cost down to just $10 a box.  Since I have been enjoying my boxes and plan on continuing them I changed to the yearly membership.

Each month is a different theme and you will receive 5+ gourmet food items.   You don't get to pick you items so it's a complete surprise.  If you like what you get then you can log onto the Love with Food website and order the products at a special discount.  This months theme is Take me out to the ballgame.

The good:

The price: $12 or $10 is a reasonable price to pay for yummy treats AND you're donating a meal.

Need a gift: You can send a 3 or 6 month subscription to a friend.  Who wouldn't love getting tasty treats in the mail?

Variety: You get a lot of variety in each box.

Discounts: You can earn points for discounts off future full size product purchases by submitting reviews on their website.

The not so good:

Skip a month: Skipping is not an option.  If you don't want a box you will have to cancel.

This is my June Love with Food Box.

3.5 oz. Ballpark cookie by Cougar Mountain Baking Co. value = $1.50http://www.cougar-mountain.com/    - I was really exciting about this cookie cause it looked so big and delicious.  I found it to be kind of dry and too crunchy for my liking.

.9 oz. pkg. Organic gummy bears by Surf Sweets value = $0.80 (2.75 oz. $2.39)

4 pieces salt water taffy by Taffy Town. value = $0.25/ea I'm guessing. http://www.taffytown.com/ - Soft, flavorful and delicious.

2.5 oz. Caramel Cob, Jr. value = $1.49 (8 pk. $11.92) http://www.caramelcob.com/ - Oh my goodness, this was soooo good.  It was super so it didn't kill my teeth trying to bit into it or rip up the roof of my mouth.  The caramel flavor was so delicious.  Yummy, yummy treat.

The overall value of this months box is $10.55.  When you consider the company also donates a meal for each box purchased this makes the box a great deal if you pay yearly and a good deal if you pay monthly.

**I am not any type of sponsor paid or unpaid for Love with Food.  I purchase these subscriptions myself.
