June Julep Mystery Box

I caved an bought another mystery box from Julep. I am a sucker for mystery boxes but I really need to stop buying the Julep ones because I'm getting overloaded on polish.  What I need is a really good non-stinky polish remover.  If anyone has any suggestions I'd appreciate it.

Julep itself is a monthly subscription service for nail polish.  The price is $19.99 a month but you have the option to skip.  Since joining early this year I've only purchased one of the monthly boxes besides the first box which I got for a penny.  Every couple of months or so Julep send out an email or facebook/twitter post for mystery boxes.  The cost is $60 but they always offer a discount code which brings the price down to $19.99.  You are guaranteed to get $60-$200 worth of items in each box.  I always order two for some reason.

This is the inside of the first box.  It came wrapped with a nail file.  I like these files too. they have multiple textures and are easy to use.

Here are the contents of the first box.

1 Nail Therapy Base Coat. value = $16.00

1 polish in Juliette. value = $14.00

1 polish in Pippa. value = $14.00

1 polish in Jodie. value = $14.00

1 Julep daylight defense lip balm with SPF. value = $6.00

1 nail file. value $2.00

Total value = $66.00

Savings = $46.00

This is the second box.  It's wrapped just like the first.

Here are the contents of the first box.

1 polish in Taylor. value = $14.00

1 polish in Sofia. value = $14.00

1 polish in Kelly. value = $14.00

1 polish fast drying top coat value = $14.00

1 Julep daylight defense lip balm with SPF. value = $6.00

1 nail file. value $2.00

Total value = $64.00

Savings = $44.00

I received $130.00 worth of products for $40.00.  I did receive some colors I already have but I'll probably gift those.  I can never have enough nail files so that was good.  I actually have a ton a lip balm right now but I know someone who travels a lot so I might make a little gift pack for her.

**I am not any type of sponsor paid or unpaid for Julep.  I purchase these items myself.

    1. I was debating on getting it. Which box did you get, polish or product lover?

  2. Butter London "Powder Room" is expensive, but it smells like baby powder instead of nail polish remover ($8 or $9 for a 2 oz bottle)
