Julep Cinco de Mayo mystery boxes

This is another mystery box from Julep.  This was their Cinco de Mayo mystery box.  The cost was $60 but they always provide a discount code which brings the price down to $19.99.  As always I couldn't order just one box so I ordered two.  If you like polish and have been trying to decide whether not to become a Julep Maven I advice is do it.  The mystery boxes are worth it.  You don't have to buy their polish kits every month but if you don't want it you will have to make sure and skip the month when they send their reminder email.  You can read my Julep Maven review here.

I received a rather large brown box and inside were two smaller boxes.  So exciting!

This is my first box.
Contents:

1 fl. oz. Glycolic hand scrub - value $10.67
Julep Crystal nail file - value $6.00
4 nail polishes - value $56.00

Total Value of mystery box #1: $72.67
Price paid: $19.99
Savings: $52.68

What a great savings!  I thought so.  I have the green colors already from my St. Patrick's Day mystery box but I can always make a gift out of it.  I thought I did pretty well but take a look at box #2.

This is my second box.

It's the nail polish jackpot!

Contents:
10 yes 10 nail polishes - value $140
3 fl. oz. Age defying hand brightener - value $32.00
.37 fl. oz. Julep nail growth revitalizing serum - value $38.00

Total value of mystery box #2: $210
Price paid: $19.99
Savings: $190.01

WOW!

This second box contained a base coat and top coat which you can never have too many of.  I also received a duplicate of the glitter polish and one other color I already had but I'll put that with the green one from above and voila, insta-gift!  I'm also super excited about the nail growth serum because I have thin nails and I'm always looking for something to strengthen them.  The total savings between the two boxes is $242.69!  The do these mystery boxes randomly but it's usually around holidays.  Again if you like polishes it would be worth joining just for the mystery boxes alone.

**I pay for these boxes myself and am not any type of sponsor paid or unpaid for Julep.
